GOING VIRAL WITH A PUBLIC TRANSPORT MAP

A major business milestone was reached while I was working for a tech startup in Cape Town - collecting data from a city's entire informal public transport network. Through good design and digital media strategy, I created a concept which communicated the potential of this extensive and previously unavailable public transport information.

LAUNCHING A GLOBAL DIGITAL BRAND CAMPAIGN

When my employer began work on their first brand campaign in seven years, a digital-first approach was essential. I managed the campaign's digital implementation, reflecting newly-evolved brand values and translating them into guidelines and strategies for digital channels.

REVAMPING A 3 BED APARTMENT IN LONDON

Unloved and and unsuccessfully upgraded by previous owners, I acquired this property with a view to improving its functionality and overall standard. Located in a rapidly changing pocket of London, I undertook a space efficient renovation project to improve liveability and bring the property up to the standards expected in the 21st century.

REACHING MILLIONS WITH THIS BIG CITY

This Big City was an online magazine which I founded in 2009 and ran through to 2015. I aimed to tell the story of sustainability innovations in cities to as many people as possible, and This Big City grew into a project with multiple contributors and a substantial audience.

The City Climate Leadership Awards highlighted the world's best urban sustainability initiatives. I led digital strategy in 2014, devising a content marketing and social media strategy which increased the event's reach and generated tens of thousands of public votes.

CO-HOSTING A COLLABORATIVE TWEETCHAT SERIES

Running from 2012 to 2014, #citytalk was a popular tweetchat series which I co-founded and which thousands of Twitter users participated in. Countless good ideas were shared across our 31 discussions and over 20 million Twitter users were reached.
